Hello everyone. Ramey’s father Terry called me this morning to ask for prayer. So I wanted to quickly update you on Ramey’s condition and ask for specific prayer requests.

First, Ramey is not feeling well. She has been very fatigued and isn’t regaining strength. It’s very hard for her to even walk. A lot of times she needs help just to stand or to move from one place to the other at home. Please pray for her strength. The doctors are talking today about what they may be able to do to help get her strength and energy back up. This is crucial because once she starts the radiation and chemotherapy she will be facing even greater fatigue and is going to need every bit of strength, physically and mentally.

Pray for Ramey to begin treatments to kill this cancer ASAP. Please pray that God would get Ramey in no later than Thursday to get the mapping done for the radiation therapy. She was already fitted for mask to be used for the radiation, but the mapping has not been done yet. The mapping process is when the doctors calculate the physical coordinates (kind of like plotting a course) of where they want the radiation to go exactly. It’s a very specific and exact process but it also requires a lot of preparation. This ensures that the radiation will be targeting only the cancerous areas and not damaging non-cancerous areas.

Finally, Terry, Kathy and family need strength. As you can imagine, dealing with doctors, employers, and the daily things of life while also watching someone very loved and close to you suffer amidst major decision making will take it’s toll on you physically and mentally. The family needs God’s Spirit to bring freshness and strength and grace for the moment. Please pray that God would fill each member of the family with His Holy Spirit, equipping them each for the special role in serving and caring for Ramey and one another.

Hey Everybody! No sooner after praying and posting this update did Terry call me back and tell me how refreshed he was feeling and how Ramey had just called him and sounded so much better, he couldn’t believe it was her!!!

Thank you for the detailed updates; they are a tremendous help in being able to pray specifically. Lord, I thank you for Ramey and her family, for their testimony, for their light shining before so many, many people. Lord, please strengthen John and Ramey’s family, for those helping in the ‘daileys’ of life. Wrap your arms of love around each one, that they would know so clearly that you are there, that you are holding them up with the right arm of your righteousness; that though they walk through the waters they will not be overcome, that through the fire they will not be burned. YOU are God, and You give us all that we need exactly when we need it.
Gary and I pray several times a day for Ramey and family. The CDs she gave us have been such a blessing. I see her singing in front of our church as I listen to them over and over again.

Thank you for the updates. I am praying constantly for Ramey and her family. I have not met Ramey, however, her sister, Shayna is my daughters best friend and if Ramey is anything like her sister, she is very special indeed. May God keep His arms wrapped around this family, and strengthen them daily. Terry, Kathy and Shayna our thoughts and prayers will be with you and especially for Ramey, her husband and child. Be strong in the Lord!
Lord I come to you in the name of your son Jesus, and thank you for your many blessings in life. I thank you for the priviledge to know this family and call them my friends. I ask that you would give Ramey renewed strength as each day passes. Help her to endure the upcoming treatments for her healing . Give her your sweet peace that passes all understanding as she faces the coming days. Help her husband and family have the courage and wisdom to make the right decisions for her medical care and recovery.Renew them physically and spiritually daily as they go through these troubling times.Your word says”They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as Eagles. They shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint”. Give Ramey and her family this strength as they wait for her recovery. Bless and guide them. Amen

This prayer is for Ramsey and her family. I pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding, comfort,strenght, and healing in the precious, matchless name of Jesus. It is by his striptes that we are healed. Amen!
Dear Ramey and Family,
May all your prayers be answered as the Will of God that you may have good health, less anxiety and that the Dr.’s can do what ever is necessary for you in your time of illness. My thoughts are with you and your family as I am in deep understanding of your need for many prayers to come together and for the discomfort you are in personally from my mother who had suffered with a brain tumor as well. Ramey, I pray that you and your family will experience God like you never have before. May you feel His peace and the compassion only He can offer (Matt. 9:36; Luke 7:13; John 11:35). These are verses that got me through a lot over the past 15 months, especially John 11:35 when I realized how okay it is to cry sometimes. He knew what I felt. He knows what you feel. I can’t begin to understand, but I am praying for you.
Heavenly Father, I am praying today for a complete healing for Ramey. Please remove all signs of the tumor, Father. We know that through You anything is possible. Thank you Lord for listening to our prayers and and I pray that you heal Ramey for Your Glory, Lord. We know that miracles still happen today and today I am asking for Ramey for her miracle. I pray this in Your Holy Name, Jesus. Bless the family also Lord that they know that every minute of the day you are with them.

Lord Jesus, You said that by your stripes at Calvary we are made whole and healed. We ask for divine intervention in Ramey. We, your body of Christ come in agreement for blessing and healing of Ramey’s blood and body. Lord, give her a peace that passes all understanding and make your holy presence known before her and her doctors. Cover her in your holy presence. In Jesus Christ’s holy name.

I did not realize this was here until today. I have been praying for you and thinking about you all the time. I wish I could be there to hold your hand. I would like to pray with you all..Dear God, we do not know what tomorrow will bring but what we do know is that we have today and for that we are thankful. We need you today Lord…we need you to hold us up when we are weak…please help us get the needed rest and give us moments of laughter and strength. We love you Lord for all you have given us. We pray today Lord for Judah..he is the little one throughout all of this Lord that does not understand Lord. We pray that you will hold him Lord in your hands and calm his fears and his worries. We thankyou Lord for loving us and we pray that in the days to come that you will give the wisdom the doctors need to fully treat Ramey. We love you Lord….Amen
